I assume the sword would stay the same form, but his Vaizard incarnation seems
to have affected his spiritual pressure. When fighting his normal reiatsu is a
light blue. However with some attacks where he uses 'all' his power, black is
mixed in and the attack has more destructive effect. That could be the effect of
the Vaizard reiatsu being used for Ichigo's attacks.
To be honest I didn't find them all that bad, but I rarely pay attention to
voices in dubs so that's possibly why. Renji did sound slightly mechanical, but
it could be because all of the sound seemed slightly tinny. Shunsui's was the
funniest, purely because his voice went from Agent Smith (Mr. Anderson...) to
Hawaii stoner (Surf's up dude.) Trust me on this, listen to him again whilst
thinking of those two voice types.
Well, wow. I log on expecting normality and I see this. How odd. It does seem
quite buggy, but it's bound to improve with time. The only thing that throws me
is groups. They all seem to have wiped, with no comments anymore, and on the
profile page there isn't an easy access to them. It's all so... strange. Overall
I much prefer MT 2 just because it was easy to navigate and had a simple level
system.
Quote by markby2kLee's Drunk self vs.
Kimimaro, nothing like some Drunken Fist style. Favorite fight and favorite
episode, especially when Gaara shows up.
Indeed, Lee drunk is great to watch, especially the fear on Gai Sensei's face
when he explains to Tsunade. Mwahaha, made me laugh for ages and I still rewatch
it quite often.
Quote by krazyxbangzI think the most
tragic one that I've experienced was Soujirou from the Kenshin series. His story
got me all misty eyed when I watched it.
That's the practically emotionless kid, right? it's been ages since I've watched
the series, I'm a bit shaky on the names.
I'm not embarrassed about my love of anime and manga, and my friends openly know
of it, since I'm quite happy enough to tell them. Hell, I even watch and read
hentai and they know of that. Rather than being embarrassed, I consider it my
mission to corrup, er, convert friends to anime and manga by introducing them to
genres they like, but just in anime. Fullmetal Alchemist has so far been the
best recruiter.
I've never really considered any of my actions as 'sins'. Even though I'm an
atheist, and therefore my definition of sin isn't anything connected with
religion but rather something termed 'a bad thing', the main person who judges
an action is the person who comitted it itself. Not only that but morality is
based on the concensus point of view, only through agreement. Since I'm a
nihilist (someone who believes that morality is only determined by the person
themself) I consider all of my actions to be reasonably plausible, since none of
them have ever led to a bad occurence. Therefore because I judge my actions as
just, I suppose I don't have any sins per se. Of course, if judged by someone
else with a strict morality I guess I'd be ridden with 'sin'.
To actually answer the thread though I suppose a 'sin' of my own wouldn't be
anything I have done, but rather my casual disregard for life and not really
minding if a person dies.
From a series I recently watched, Negi from Mahou Sensei Negi. It's not really
the most messed up, but he was without parents. Though many consider his dad to
be dead, he still believes he's alive and strives to find him. It's an
interesting serious point amidst the insane amount of fan service (not that I'm
complaining, heh).
Yeah, the Rock Lee verses Gaara seems to be a popular fight. The action in it is
just plain impressive. Though some of the newer and shorter fights are
impressive. Seeing Shino use his bugs in the new episodes rocks. That bug shield
thing is just cool, as well as the copies made from bugs.
Though not quite in anime, Cloud from Final Fantasy and Ichigo from Bleach. Dye
Cloud's hair ginger and you've got two giant sword-toting spikey-haired fighting
nutters. Huzzah.
Quote by AyasalTina, from Fantastic
Children
because as princess she was engaged to her childhoodfriend, Sesu , but fall in
love with Sesu's best friend, Sharon, but she died in a accident but was bring
back to life and used/changed as a powerful weapon by her own father, but she
ended up destorying the kingom and killed her father(she didn't know want she
was doing). then Sesu killed Sharon, he died right in front of her (so sad). but
ended up losing her memory after that.
That's quite harsh, but I suppose you can consider he subsequent loss of memory
as a good point for her, which would ease her pain.
Oh, the world won't always be like that. I'm quite sure that one day in the
incredibly distant future our sun in the solar system will become a Red Giant,
causing the atmosphere of this planet to ignite, killing everything. Then
there'd be no concept of morality here, since there'd be no one to have a point
of view.
I have no moral problem with killing at all. It's not even a question about
survival, or need. It's a question of ability. If you're able to kill someone
and have a reason for it, then you'd not need to have any qualms about it. In a
similar context morality is merely a set of views shared by a collective. What
is 'moral' is decided by the majority. In olden times killing was seen as a form
of punishment and it wasn't that much of a big deal. In wars you may notice that
only the deaths of your home country's soldiers are viewed as all that 'bad',
deaths of the enemy are quite often viewed as occationally sorrowful, but
needed. It's all the twisted views and different perspectives that make
questions such as 'would you kill' largely non-pivotal. Hand me a method to kill
people without getting caught and in all honesty I probably would. Quite a few
would I believe. The main taboo about killing is the getting caught and
punished. If a person had a method to kill without that restricting weighing
down on their mind, then eventually they would kill someone. All it needs is the
psyche to either fall apart and snap, or to rationalise it.
In short, I wouldn't feel guilty about killing. All I'd need to have is the
security of not subsequently getting punished or found out. Cold, but true.
I wouldn't say I don't like them, I just consider them slightly odd at times -
Japanese school uniforms in most anime's and manga's. Now I've never been to
Japan, but if those skirts are that short in everyday life on girls so young
it's indeed slightly worrying. Of course the irony is that in the UK most girls
try to wear even shorter skirts at schools but that's beside the point. ;
I've never really watched Inuyasha, could anyone explain what happened to him?
On a slightly related note to the topic, in Tsubasa Chronicles the anime it's
interesting to see that Sayoran and Sakura's good pasts become a slightly
forlorn present because of the memory loss and dying problem. Odd reversal.
Evil serving good for evil purposes, heh, good point there. A sweet sweet irony.
As for good fights, I think the recent ones with the fat brothers were quite
funny, the rice gets spoilt and they go nuts. That had me laughing quite a lot,
hehehehe.
Quote by HIKURAXEI wrote a Manga about a
guy who is a security guard at a junk yard. Rats swarm the scrap heaps, and
he starts to get nervous. Eventually they try to creep in his little booth, so
he gets out. He's surrounded
by them. Vile creatures. He starts throwing rocks at them and scrambles. Then,
he hears a strange
sound. There's a giant rat behind him, about six feet tall. Sound wierd, It gets
wierder! Evil discos,
Giant living buildings, depressed robots and more in my first attempt at manga
"City of Flames".
I'd love to see that as a manga, it'd be great! I could make all my friends
worry about me by reading i infront of them, heheh.
No clue who started it or how, but my signature looked empty, so in it went.
Reminds me of the Monty Python Rabbit in the Holy Grail film... it's only a
harmless little bunny rabbit...
Warning, Bleach spoiler for those of you who don't read the manga, so look away
now!
Quote by Manga chapter 186 spoilerMy favourite
Shinigami is Isshin, Ichigo's dad, when he reveals himself at the end of the
chapter. He just looks cool with those vice captain robes and badge. See?
Spoiler, I did warn you!
I finally got round to colouring one! Ta daa, here is my part two entry!
Shiki Shinigami Coloured
Excellent, now to start colouring. Cheers!

I liked the forest of death fight too, only because Naruto stopped the giant snake with a single kunai and his body, heh.
